Aboout 200 expanded (Estimate based on actual count), most with 1 to 3 expandable pictures (a few have many more) and many with links to other sites. Pages vary considerably in quality, but load quickly. About 15,000 with basic contact info only, with some long-closed, duplicates or outdated area codes.
Description:
Searchable database. Choose "Search for a Bed & Breakfast"; then select a U.S. state, result is list with detailed listings first, then rest in alpha order by Inn name, 25 to a page (cannot skip a page). Can also input city, inn name or part name, amenities and/or other keywords (4 total).
Quality Assurance:
Shows 'inspected by' on some pages.
Other:
Has odd things to see, music festivals. Has calendars linked from some inn pages, but does not show availability. Has badly outdated data in free basic listings.Couldnot advance to second page of state listing using Firefox.
Innkeeper Info:
Promotion: Uses keywords on some inn pages. Pages have counters. Have innkeeper-submittal capability to search engines.
Rates: basic contact is free, description with link is $36 (will build a home page for clients who don't have one).
